DTI SUSPENDS 11 VAPE BRANDS OVER PACKAGING VIOLATIONS

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has suspended the sale and distribution of 11 vape brands for failing to meet packaging requirements under the Vape Law.

The suspension affects the manufacture, import, and promotion of vaporized nicotine and non-nicotine products from brands like Boss Nevoks Bar, Classico, and Lost Mary.

The DTI issued a preliminary order, which will remain in effect until a final decision is made on the formal charge.

These brands violated Section 4(d) of Republic Act No. 11900, which requires fiscal markings and proper packaging, including graphic health warnings.

The DTI has warned that violators face significant fines and imprisonment under the law.
