The Department of Justice (DOJ) plans to inquire with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) about how former presidential spokesman Harry Roque obtained at least two passports.
Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla noted that Roque, no longer a government official, should only hold one regular passport, as diplomatic passports are only for current officials.
Roque reportedly has two regular passports under the same name, but he denies this, stating he uses only one regular passport because the other is full.
He also clarified that he no longer uses his diplomatic passport since leaving government service.
Roque added that his current passport is with the Dutch authorities for his asylum application.
