Ang faces charges of kidnapping with homicide and serious illegal detention in the courts in Sta. Cruz, San Pablo, and Lipa, with arrest warrants issued by the Sta. Cruz and Lipa RTCs.
Acting Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida said intelligence reports and travel records indicate Ang remains in the country but acknowledged he could have left through unofficial channels.
Vida assured that law enforcement agencies are actively pursuing Ang, coordinating with other countries and the diplomatic community to track him down.
Authorities emphasized that all possible avenues are being explored to ensure Ang’s capture.
