The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has warned of a possible Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on November 5.
The agency stated that the attack, also known as a “traffic flood,” could cause websites and online services to slow down or become temporarily unavailable.
DICT clarified that the attack would not compromise personal accounts, data, or money.
The agency is coordinating with national security and international partners to monitor the threat.
Users are advised to remain vigilant and expect potential disruptions to online services.
