Senator Bato dela Rosa was absent for 31 of 58 session days during the 20th Congress’s first regular session, making him the senator with the highest number of absences.
He has not attended any Senate sessions since November 11, 2025, amid reports of a potential International Criminal Court arrest warrant, which has not yet been issued.
A complaint over his absenteeism has been filed with the Senate ethics committee.
The next highest absences were recorded by Sen. Camille Villar with 16 days, followed by Minority Leader Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano with 14 days.
Most other senators attended at least 50 of the 58 sessions, with Senate President Vicente Sotto III, Senate Majority Leader Miguel Zubiri, and several others attending all sessions.
