Boracay Island will host the grand finale of the Philippine Kiteboarding Association (PKA) Tour’s 10th season from March 14-16, 2025, bringing together over 80 elite kiteboarding athletes from across the globe.
The competition will feature four thrilling disciplines: Foil Racing, Twin-Tip Racing, Freestyle, and Hangtime, showcasing top riders such as Yo Pudla of Thailand and local talent Warner Janoya.
Triina Trei of Estonia, the defending Women’s Freestyle and Foil Racing champion, will also compete against fierce competitors from Japan, China, and Australia.
This event coincides with the inclusion of kite foil races in the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, further igniting enthusiasm within the kitesurfing community.
Supported by various sponsors and local organizations, the PKA Tour aims to highlight Boracay’s perfect conditions for kiteboarding while promoting the sport and boosting tourism in the region.
