Three Central Luzon destinations—Aurora Province, San Fernando in Pampanga, and Clark Freeport Zone—have been nominated in the 2025 World Travel Awards, boosting the Philippines’ total nominations to 10.
The Department of Tourism said these nominations highlight the country’s diverse tourism strengths, from natural beauty and cultural richness to premier event hosting.
Aurora is lauded for its pristine surfing spots, San Fernando for its cultural vibrancy as the Christmas Capital, and Clark for its growing appeal as a MICE tourism hub.
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco urged both Filipinos and international supporters to vote and help secure the win.
Voting runs until August 31, 2025, for the prestigious global tourism awards.
