ARELLANO STUNS PERPETUAL WITH REVERSE SWEEP FOR HISTORIC NCAA TITLE

Arellano University clinched its first NCAA girls’ volleyball title after pulling off a dramatic reverse sweep against the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta in Season 100 at the Filoil Center. 

Samantha Maranan delivered a stellar performance with 31 points to lead the Lady Braves to a 21-25, 15-25, 25-16, 25-11, 15-4 comeback victory. 

Catherine Cau added 19 points and Justine Galaga contributed 14, fueling Arellano’s momentum after dropping the first two sets. 

Perpetual’s Sherrie Rose Acosta dominated early with 20 points, but she and her teammates lost steam in the later sets. 

The win marks a historic milestone for Arellano’s junior volleyball program.
