Education Secretary Sonny Angara visited Parañaque National High School-Main to assure students, teachers, and parents of the Department of Education’s support following a controversy involving a teacher.
He inspected the school’s security measures and stressed the importance of maintaining a safe learning environment.
Angara also met with local officials and school stakeholders to hear their concerns.
The visit comes as schools nationwide strengthen security protocols following the recent school shooting in Tacloban City.
DepEd said it will continue working with local governments to ensure campus safety and student welfare.
