The Alaminos City Tourism Office has relaunched its land-tour package featuring Bued Mangrove Park, St. Joseph Cathedral, Bolo Beach, the engineered bamboo factory, and the local market to complement the iconic Hundred Islands National Park (HINP).
City tourism officer Rosalie Aruelo said the initiative aims to boost tourist arrivals, support tourism workers, and showcase more attractions in the city beyond HINP.
Highlights of the tour include birdwatching at Bued Mangrove Park, visiting the historic St. Joseph Cathedral, and enjoying the pristine shores of Bolo Beach.
Tourists can also explore the award-winning bamboo souvenir factory and experience local life at the city market, home to the famous Alaminos longganisa.
The local government is also upgrading HINP facilities with a chapel, museum, and retreat hall set to open this month to attract more visitors.
