The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported that 29,016 individuals availed of the government’s rehabilitation and reformation programs in 2024, including 25,789 drug users and 3,227 drug pushers.
Among the drug users, 16,494 graduated from the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program, while 9,063 completed barangay-level interventions and 232 underwent treatment in accredited rehab centers.
Meanwhile, 749 drug pushers graduated from the Balay Silangan Reformation Program, with 79 still undergoing training and others awaiting admission.
Since 2018, 595 Balay Silangan centers have been established, including 63 in 2024, offering counseling, skills training, and livelihood opportunities.
The government continues to emphasize rehabilitation and stigma-free reintegration to address the drug problem and prevent repeat offenses.
