ZAMBOANGA EARNS SHOT AT STAMP’S ONE WOMEN’S ATOMWEIGHT TITLE

Filipina mixed martial artist Denice Zabmoanga is set to challenge former training partner Stamp Fairtex for the ONE women’s atomweight world championship at ONE 167 in Bangkok on June 8.

Both fighters, coming off impressive win streaks, are poised for a colossal clash.

Zamboanga, following two consecutive losses, secured victories against Lin Heqin and Julie Mezabarba. Fairtex, boasting four straight wins, notably achieved knockouts against Alyse Anderson and Ham Seo Hee.

Originally slated for ONE 166, the bout between Zamboanga and Fairtex will now headline ONE 167. The event will also feature ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai defending his title against Jo Nattawut.

Additionally, Filipino Jeremy Pacatiw is set to debut under Lions Nation MMA against China’s Wang Shuo at ONE Fight Night 21: Eersel vs. Nicolas on April 6 in Bangkok.

The main event of the card will see Suriname’s Regian Eersel defend his lightweight kickboxing world championship against France’s Alexis Nicolas.
