Special Envoy to the UAE Ma. Anna Kathryna Yu-Pimentel welcomed the opening of the Dubai International Chamber’s Manila office, calling it a result of stronger diplomatic and economic ties between the Philippines and the UAE.
The office, inaugurated on April 14, is Dubai Chambers’ fifth branch in Southeast Asia and aims to boost trade, investment, and business expansion opportunities.
Yu-Pimentel said the development reflects growing confidence in the Philippines and builds on recent high-level visits and agreements under the Marcos administration.
UAE officials also highlighted rising trade, increased Filipino business presence in Dubai, and expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
The new office is expected to further strengthen bilateral ties and improve market access for Filipino firms.
