The first edition of the LaLiga Youth Tournament in the Philippines took place from October 18 to 20 at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium in Capas, Tarlac, featuring 80 teams and 1,380 young players competing in front of over 7,000 spectators.
Champions of the tournament included Crocs FC Davao for the Under-8, Under-10, and Under-12 categories, Total FC for Under-14, and the White Team of De La Salle-Zobel for Under-16.
Aimed at becoming the benchmark for grassroots football in Southeast Asia, the tournament seeks to enhance local football talent and plans to expand to regional levels in the future.

LaLiga’s Singapore office considers the tournament a priority project, with upcoming editions scheduled for Thailand in November after successful events in Malaysia and Indonesia.
