Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, the star roamer of ECHO, has officially parted ways with the team, as announced on Monday night. In a video posted on ECHO’s page, Yawi expressed his gratitude to his teammates and the management for the opportunities he was given.
Yawi joined ECHO in 2022 after being acquired from Nexplay EVOS, forming a formidable team that overcame initial challenges. His impressive plays played a significant role in ECHO’s rise, including their victory over Blacklist International in the Grand Finals of the M4 World Championship.
However, during MPL Season 12, Yawi saw limited playing time, which became a subject of scrutiny. Despite this, Yawi remained appreciative of the management and cherished his time with the team.
ECHO expressed their gratitude to Yawi, stating that his contributions will be remembered by the Orcas throughout history.
