Alaminos City in Pangasinan has become the first city in the Philippines to launch a state-of-the-art emergency communication command center, significantly enhancing its public safety capabilities.
This new facility sets a benchmark for emergency response, following Morong, Rizal’s lead as the first municipality to implement advanced emergency systems.
Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos, speaking at the National Emergency Response Summit, emphasized the need for a unified, technologically advanced 911 system across the country.
The center, in collaboration with NGA 911, features cutting-edge technology that provides precise location tracking and efficient call handling, reducing response times to 3-4 minutes.
The Alaminos emergency response team has undergone extensive training to ensure high-quality service and effective crisis management.
