Valenzuela City officials, led by Mayor Weslie Gatchalian, held the groundbreaking ceremony for a new housing project in Barangay Veinte Reales, where 240 shelters will be built.
The project is Phase 3 of the city’s vertical housing initiative under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program, in partnership with the Social Housing Finance Corp.
The housing units, worth P292.243 million, will primarily benefit members of the Loan Homeowners Associations Federation Inc.
Once fully developed, the project will consist of 34 buildings with 1,632 units. In addition to housing, the city is building a 3S Center within the site to provide convenient access to government services for residents.
The project is part of a broader effort to address housing challenges and improve community resilience.
