Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) successfully held the second Race Weekend of the 2025 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup in Villar City, drawing over 12,000 motorsports fans from May 23 to 25.
Racers competed in four categories on a challenging 2.4-kilometer street circuit featuring 14 turns, including two hairpins and six chicanes, providing intense and thrilling action.
TMP president Masando Hashimoto survived a dramatic crash when his Vios One-Make-Race car flipped but escaped unharmed, highlighting Toyota’s commitment to safety.
The event also showcased the debut of the Tamaraw Racing Concept in a drag race exhibition and offered fans live concerts and test drives of Toyota’s latest vehicles.
The final race weekend of the 2025 TGR Philippine Cup is set for August at Clark International Speedway.
