Team Batangas City won the 2026 ASAPHIL U18 Men’s Softball National Championships held from May 1 to 6 in Barangay Libjo, Batangas, after defeating Team Calaca, 4-3, in the championship game.
Nine teams from across the country competed in the tournament, including squads from Batangas, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and Cavite.
Pandi Bulacan secured third place after edging Batang Gentri, while Team Agoncillo topped Team Nasugbu in the placement round championship.
Batangas City’s Rick Lenard De Guzman earned the Most Valuable Player award along with Best Slugger and Most Home Runs honors, while Omar Driz was named Best Pitcher.
Jean Henri Lhuillier said the tournament highlighted the importance of grassroots development in strengthening the future of Philippine softball and nurturing young athletic talent.
