TEAM ASIA DOMINATES IN COMPETITION

Filipino Carlo Biado, alongside Singaporean Aloysius Yapp, secured a 5-3 victory against Team Europe’s Eklent Kaci and Jason Shaw, extending Team Asia’s lead to 9-3 in the inaugural Asia Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

This match was part of a successful outing for the host region, which had previously won another match 5-1 before the Europeans claimed a victory in the second match.

With Team Asia dominating and only one day left in the event, organizers decided to reschedule the remaining matches.

Instead, they hosted an exhibition match featuring Filipino legend Francisco “Django” Bustamante, who defeated American icon Jeremy Jones 4-2.

This exhibition provided a thrilling conclusion to the event as Team Asia showcased its prowess.
