TAMARAWS TRIUMPH IN OVERTIME THANKS TO BAUTISTA AND KONATEH

Far Eastern University (FEU) secured a crucial overtime victory against Adamson, winning 76-72 in the opening game of the UAAP Season 87 second round at Smart Araneta Coliseum. 

The Tamaraws initially lost a comfortable lead in the fourth quarter but rallied late to force overtime, improving their record to 2-6. 

Jorick Bautista was instrumental in the win, hitting a game-tying three-pointer with 14.2 seconds left in regulation and scoring nine of his 21 points in overtime. 

He also contributed six rebounds, two assists, and two steals, sealing the game with two free throws in the final seconds. 

Mo Konateh added a dominant double-double with 13 points and 26 rebounds, while Veejay Pre, Royce Alforque, Janrey Pasaol, and Rojan Montemayor also made significant contributions.
