Singapore’s Marc Brian Louis clinched the gold medal in the men’s 100m with a time of 10.45 seconds at the ICTSI Philippine Athletics Championships held at New Clark City on Friday.
Filipino athlete Miguel Anthony Rosario finished second in 10.53 seconds, while Singapore’s Daryl Tan secured third place with a time of 10.62 seconds.
In the men’s decathlon, Far Eastern University dominated, with Ronel Juntilla taking gold, Pacifico Tolentino IV earning silver, and Rolly Royo Jr. claiming bronze.
National athlete Ronne Malipay won the men’s triple jump with a leap of 15.77 meters, while the Philippine team bagged gold in the 4x400m mixed relay.
The event serves as a qualifier for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games and Asian Youth Games, highlighting top athletes from the Philippines and beyond.
