Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. is restructuring its store network by closing 15 to 20 underperforming outlets as part of efforts to improve efficiency and profitability.
Chairman Christopher Po said the company is using the current business environment to streamline operations and reduce costs.
The company may close more stores as it continues reviewing its network.
Despite the restructuring, SPAVI ended the first quarter with 3,039 stores and outlets across its brands.
President and CEO Vicente Gregorio said the company remains focused on achieving double-digit growth in 2026.
