College of St. Benilde’s Sean Granada emerged victorious in Round 2 of the ICTSI Intercollegiate Tour at the rain-drenched Splendido Taal Golf Club, delivering a gritty round of 75 to clinch individual honors.
Battling heavy rain, 25kph winds, and a soggy course, Granada stayed composed through four bogeys before sinking a decisive 30-foot birdie on the 16th hole.
His three-stroke win over UP’s Miggy Roque and Ateneo’s Schmuel Tan earned him 15 ranking points and redemption after a joint fourth finish in Round 1.
Granada credited his long game and mental toughness for navigating the difficult conditions. Despite setbacks, Roque and Tan showed promise, finishing tied at 78 in the grueling round.
