The Sandiganbayan has denied several motions filed by Sen. Jinggoy Estrada seeking to dismiss or suspend his graft case linked to alleged irregularities in flood control projects.
With the motions rejected, Estrada did not enter a plea, prompting the court to enter a not guilty plea on his behalf.
The case stems from allegations that he received kickbacks amounting to P573 million, which he has denied.
The anti-graft court also reset the arraignment for Estrada and co-accused former DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan to June 30.
Bonoan’s earlier arraignment was postponed due to hospitalization.
