Mikee Romero, world-ranked polo player, helped lead GlobalPort-Passion For Polo to a thrilling 11-10 victory over defending champion Flying Changes at the 2025 USPA Midwest Open in Chicago.
Romero scored a decisive last-minute goal, which he called one of his “best shots ever,” to secure the win.
Despite an early aggressive attack from Flying Changes, GlobalPort staged a remarkable comeback, showing resilience and strong team chemistry.

GlobalPort now prepares for upcoming matches against the host team, Las Brisas, and Beaver Creek later this month.
