Senator Robin Padilla ranked first in the latest Octa Research Tugon ng Masa survey on voter preferences for the 2028 senatorial race, receiving 53.9 percent support from respondents nationwide. The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 registered voters from July 4 to 11, with participants asked who they would vote for if the elections were held today. Sen. Raffy Tulfo placed second with 47.4 percent, followed by Alan Peter Cayetano, Grace Poe, Vico Sotto, and Loren Legarda among the leading names. Other personalities who appeared in or near the potential top 12 included Manny Pacquiao, Paolo Duterte, Ben Tulfo, Abby Binay, Jinggoy Estrada, and Mark Lapid. Octa Research noted that Padilla also led the previous survey, showing continued strong voter preference ahead of the 2028 elections.
