REVOCATION OF QUIBOLOY’S GUN PERMIT LOOMS: PNP ASSESSMENT ONGOING

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to decide this week on the recommendation to revoke the gun permits of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC).

Quiboloy faces various legal challenges, including arrest warrants related to alleged sexual abuse, human trafficking, and child abuse.

The PNP cited legal grounds for the permit revocation, including Quiboloy’s involvement in criminal cases with penalties exceeding two years.

Quiboloy, who possesses 19 firearms, is also under scrutiny for expired licenses and pending criminal cases.

Despite facing international arrest warrants, including in the United States, Quiboloy maintains his innocence.

President Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. assures fair proceedings amid concerns over U.S. involvement in the cases.
