Officials from the Construction Industry Association of the Philippines (CIAP) and the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) will still be summoned for investigation despite their recent resignations.
DTI Secretary Cristina Roque confirmed that former CIAP Acting Executive Director Herbert Matienzo will cooperate with the probe.
Two PCAB board members also resigned for personal reasons amid ongoing investigations into anomalies in DPWH flood control projects.
Roque announced she has placed both agencies under her direct supervision to ensure transparency and accountability.
The government is probing 15 construction firms linked to questionable flood control contracts nationwide.
