The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) will hold its “National Rally for Peace” on January 13 at Quirino Grandstand instead of Liwasang Bonifacio to accommodate the expected large crowd.
The rally, organized to support President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s stance against the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte, is anticipated to draw hundreds of thousands of participants nationwide.
The venue change was finalized after coordination with the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ, which adjusted its schedule to make way for the event.
Although traffic congestion is expected, authorities are working with INC organizers to manage logistics and minimize disruptions.
INC, the third-largest religious group in the Philippines, is known for its massive gatherings and influence in national matters.
