Apollo Quiboloy, detained leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, was briefly transferred from the Philippine Heart Center to the Philippine Children’s Medical Center for additional medical tests, as ordered by a Pasig court. The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that Quiboloy, under observation for atrial fibrillation, returned to the heart center shortly after. A court directive mandates his return to PNP custody by Saturday evening. Previously, Quiboloy’s petition for hospital detention was denied. He faces non-bailable human trafficking and child protection charges.
