The Department of Health has awarded Quezon City the 2025 Healthy Communities Award in recognition of its health programs and initiatives that improve the quality of life of residents.
Based on evaluation and onsite validation, Quezon City received a “Good” overall rating, one of the highest categories among highly urbanized cities.
The city met at least 70 percent of the standards across 12 program components.
Officials said the recognition highlights the city’s commitment to providing comprehensive and inclusive healthcare services.
Quezon City vowed to continue improving its health programs to further serve its citizens.
