The Quezon City Association of Filipino-Chinese Businessmen Inc. (QCAFCBI) marked its 35th anniversary and the induction of its new Board of Directors and officers on August 4 at Novotel Hotel.
Outgoing President Joaquin Co praised the association’s impact on the community and expressed confidence in the new leadership under President Rorvick Cheng.
Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro, President of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc., officiated the induction ceremony.
The event, attended by notable figures including former Mayor Sonny Belmonte and current Mayor Joy Belmonte, also featured the QC Dragon Star Awards, honoring individuals and NGOs for their contributions to society.
Mayor Belmonte highlighted the vital role of the QCAFCBI in supporting city initiatives and its commitment to cultural heritage.
