A youth organization led by Brian Poe Llamanzares, grandson of the late actor and politician Fernando Poe Jr., urges the Philippine government to improve the ease of doing business.
Llamanzares emphasized that such improvements could attract more investments, ultimately addressing the country’s high unemployment rate, a significant concern for young people.
He pointed out that many youths feel that bureaucratic red tape hinders entrepreneurship and job opportunities.
A recent report highlighted that 22 percent of young people prioritize job availability and mental health, while 33 percent believe entry-level jobs are scarce.
The FPJ Panday Bayanihan has formed a coalition with over 200 youth organizations to advocate for policy reforms and enhance youth participation in nation-building.
