Mamamayang Liberal Rep. Leila de Lima criticized Sen. Ronald dela Rosa after a video surfaced showing him allegedly avoiding individuals attempting to serve an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant.
In a media interview, de Lima described the scene as “pathetic,” saying she initially laughed upon seeing the footage.
She questioned the senator’s earlier confidence, contrasting it with what she called an embarrassing display of evasion.
De la Rosa has denied any involvement in alleged unlawful killings during the previous administration’s drug war.
The issue continues to draw public attention amid ongoing political and legal tensions surrounding ICC-related cases in the Philippines.
