Pateros Mayor Gerald German marked his first year in office with a “Ulat sa Bayan” report highlighting key achievements in education, peace and order, and public services.
He said his administration has implemented programs aimed at improving governance, despite challenges in delivering services to residents.
In education, the local government introduced a single shift policy, launched the Pateros Educational Assistance Program, and provided scholarships and incentives for students.
It also expanded digital access through free Wi-Fi for schools and strengthened support for academic excellence.
German likewise cited improvements in peace and order, infrastructure, and emergency response systems, including police recognition and the development of a control and command center.
