Mayor Belen Fernandez reported strong economic growth, improved governance, and major infrastructure gains during her 2026 State-of-the-City Address in Dagupan City.
She said the city has already reached its P2-billion economy target ahead of schedule, with continued revenue increases from business taxes and other local collections.
Fernandez attributed the gains to improved systems such as the One Stop Business Center, which streamlined permits, tax payments, and investment processing.
She also highlighted faster government services, including reduced processing time for fire safety certificates, and the completion of over 200 infrastructure projects worth P500 million.
The mayor said these developments reflect responsible governance and a commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of Dagupeños.
