Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares announced the implementation of a “pandemic-style” curfew for minors starting August 1 to enhance their safety.
Individuals aged 17 and below are prohibited from going outside between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., except for valid reasons.
Parents and guardians are also banned from allowing minors to be out during curfew hours unless necessary.
Violations will result in escalating penalties, including counseling for minors and community service or fines for parents or guardians, with possible criminal charges for repeated offenses.
The ordinance details and penalties are available online for residents to review.
