President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is set to deliver his fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 28, focusing on his administration’s key projects and accomplishments over the past year.
Malacañang said the President is preparing a clear and detailed report for the Filipino people. The SONA will take place before a joint session of the 20th Congress, as mandated by the 1987 Constitution.
Security preparations are underway, with 27,000 personnel to be deployed around the Batasan Complex, though no threats have been reported.
Rally zones will be designated away from the venue to ensure public safety during the event.
