The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) donated patient transport vehicles worth PHP16.20 million to eight local government units (LGUs) in Luzon.
The beneficiaries include municipalities in Batangas, Isabela, Oriental Mindoro, and Palawan.
The vehicles, handed over on June 10 at PAGCOR’s Pasay City office, come equipped with emergency medical features such as GPS, stretchers, oxygen supplies, and wheelchairs.
PAGCOR Chairperson Alejandro Tengco said the donation aims to boost local health units’ ability to respond quickly to medical emergencies, especially in remote areas.
This initiative is part of PAGCOR’s commitment to helping build more responsive and resilient healthcare systems nationwide.
