Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao completed a 530-kilometer motorcycle journey from General Santos City to a fiesta in Surigao del Sur last Thursday, celebrating with thousands of fans.
Accompanied by over 60 riders, Pacquiao took 16 hours for the trip, including stops for breakfast in Tagum and lunch in Bislig.
Upon arrival, he attended a boxing event at the Municipal Gymnasium, where he reflected on how “Blow By Blow” launched his career and expressed hopes that it would discover future boxing stars.
Pacquiao spent the night at a local businessman’s rest house before returning to General Santos City the next morning.
He is also preparing for a farewell fight against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios in Las Vegas this November, aiming to add another WBC title to his legacy.
