Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao comfortably made weight at 146.8 pounds for his comeback fight against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, who weighed in at 146.2 pounds.
Pacquiao, 46, returns to the ring after a four-year hiatus, aiming to win a world title once again in Saturday’s bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The eight-division world champion expressed his excitement about returning to the sport he loves and hopes to pull off an upset against the younger Barrios.
Barrios, 30, remains confident and views the fight as another title defense, saying, “It’s my time now.”
Both fighters are set for a highly anticipated clash, with Pacquiao potentially making history as the first Hall of Famer to reclaim a major world title.
