OVER 1,100 MANILA FAMILIES GET P11.4M HOUSING AID FROM NHA

A total of 1,144 Manila residents affected by recent calamities received P11.44 million in cash aid from the National Housing Authority (NHA) under its Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP).

NHA General Manager Joeben Tai and Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso led the distribution, where each family with partially damaged homes received P10,000.

Beneficiaries were identified through strict assessment and validation by the NHA West Sector Office in coordination with the city’s social welfare department.

Mayor Moreno said this was the first NHA-EHAP payout in Manila under his administration and thanked the agency for its support.

The NHA announced it will also distribute assistance in Caloocan following similar efforts in Malabon, Valenzuela, and Navotas.
