NU WOMEN WIN UAAP TAEKWONDO TITLE AFTER 5-YEAR DROUGHT

National University reclaimed the UAAP women’s taekwondo championship with a perfect 5-0 record in Season 87, ending a five-year title drought. The Lady Bulldogs earned six gold medals, including MVP honors for Veronica Garces, in a decisive victory against UST. De La Salle bagged the men’s division title with its own flawless 5-0 sweep, led by MVP Johnson Rosario. NU also secured the high school championship with a 4-0 sweep.
