The National University Pep Squad captured its ninth UAAP Cheerdance Competition title, marking a second consecutive win in front of 20,129 fans.
NU’s ninja-themed routine, featuring gravity-defying stunts, earned a total score of 695 points, well ahead of second-placer Adamson Pep Squad’s 659.
Far Eastern University Cheering Squad took third with 658.5 points, performing a Filipino childhood games-themed routine and winning P20,000.
NU excelled across categories, including tumbling, stunts, pyramids, choreography, and technique, with minimal penalties.
With this victory, NU now holds the most UAAP Cheerdance championships, surpassing UST and UP, which each have eight titles.
