San Miguel Beer’s Marcio Lassiter has set a new record as the leading three-point shooter in the PBA, surpassing the previous record held by Jimmy Alapag.
Alapag, now a player development coach with the Sacramento Kings, reached out to congratulate Lassiter and expressed his pride in the accomplishment.
Lassiter achieved this milestone in just 538 games, surpassing Alapag’s previous record set in 601 games.
He acknowledged the support of his coach, Jorge Gallent, and teammates like June Mar Fajardo and Chris Ross, who helped him reach this achievement.
With Alapag and other great shooters like Allan Caidic now in second and third place, Lassiter’s new record may stand for years to come.
