Newly appointed DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling has assured the public that complaints from homebuyers against developers will be addressed as quickly as possible.
His first official act was issuing a circular to ensure the speedy handling and resolution of buyers’ complaints concerning subdivision and condominium projects.
Aliling emphasized the department’s commitment to fair, transparent, and stress-free resolution without adding costs to homebuyers.
DHSUD regional offices are now required to submit bi-weekly complaint status reports to the central office, with Aliling pledging to closely monitor compliance.
Homeowners’ associations are also encouraged to raise concerns, which can be sent via email or the department’s official Facebook page.
