The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said it is prepared for the nationwide Trillion Peso March on November 30.
Preparations began soon after the rally was announced in early October, according to spokesperson PMaj. Hazel Asilo.
The NCRPO conducts weekly readiness inspections of its district offices and reserve forces to ensure preparedness.
Police are also boosting social media monitoring to prevent incidents similar to the Mendiola riots.
The November 30 protest will be the second nationwide rally against alleged government corruption, following a September 21 protest attended by over 85,000 people.
