MVP TO EXPAND MILK SUPPLY NETWORK WITH LUZON FARM PURCHASE

Business tycoon Manuel V. Pangilinan is set to acquire a cow dairy farm in Nueva Ecija this year, marking his third major investment in the local dairy industry.

The move aims to strengthen Metro Pacific Agro Ventures’ (MPAV) national milk supply network, complementing its existing farms in Bukidnon and Laguna.

Pangilinan previously acquired The Laguna Creamery Inc. and Universal Harvester Dairy Farms to support the growing demand for Carmen’s Best and Holly’s Milk products.

MPAV expects its integrated dairy facility in Laguna to begin operations by the third quarter, with milk production projected to surpass two million liters this year and reach 10 million liters by 2027.

With expanded capacity and imported high-yield cows, MPAV is targeting ₱500 million in dairy revenue for 2024.
