MVP GROUP TO BE HONORED AT SMC-PSA AWARDS FOR SUPPORT TO PHILIPPINE SPORTS

The MVP Group of Companies, led by businessman Manny V. Pangilinan, will be honored at the SMC-PSA Awards Night on January 27 for its significant support to Philippine sports, particularly Team Philippines’ preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

Through the MVP Sports Foundation, the group backed athletes like gymnast Carlos Yulo, who won two gold medals, and boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas, who secured bronze medals. 

Along with the MVP Group, the 100-year-old NCAA will also receive a special citation at the event, co-presented by ArenaPlus and Cignal.

Pilipinas Live, the top sports streaming platform by Cignal, will be recognized for its innovation in bringing Filipino sports content to audiences globally. 

A total of 19 sports personalities and entities will be honored for their achievements in Philippine sports.
